Senior Center Highlight: Collinsville Township Senior Center
One of our Graceland Center participants is new to the Peoria area. She heard about Graceland Center and thought "Of course!" because she is familiar with the great programs available at senior centers. She brought in the activity schedule from the Collinsville Senior Center as an example for us! What a great center! Here’s some information from their website. The Collinsville Township Senior Center is an excellent example of what Graceland Center is working to create for Peoria! When you review their services and activities, we are confident you will agree this is a much-needed resource for the older adults in Peoria!

Welcome to the Center
Breakfast will be served on the first Wednesday of each month. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Senior Center Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The lunch menu will be provided weekly and includes- Free Drinks and something sweet. Donations are appreciated but not required, we are looking forward to meeting you.
Activities
CRAFT ACTIVITIES- Please check updated monthly calendar for dates and times of classes.
BRIDGE - Play Bridge on Thursdays at 12:00 p.m.
PINOCHLE - Pinochle is played on Monday at 12:00 p.m.
BINGO - Bingo is played on Tuesdays and Fridays at 1:00 P.M.
Join us for an hour class designed to improve strength, stamina and balance.
CHAIR EXERCISE - Monday & Wednesday 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
CHAIR YOGA- Tuesday & Friday 9:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
TOPS - Meetings on Tuesdays at 9:30 am, Weight loss club. Please call the center for more information.
DANCES - Check the website calendar for upcoming dances held at the Senior Center.

Benefit Access - benefit access is a program available through the department of aging for senior and disabled. This program may help with a license plate discount and/or MCT buss pass. Early Voting Site - Avoid the lines on election day! Check our website for early voting hours prior to election.
Room Rental – Rooms in the Senior Center are available to Township residents after regular business hours, as well as to government agencies at any time. Call the center at 618-344-7787 for more information or click here for hall rental rules and application.
AARP Driver Safety Class – This eight-hour class is designed for drivers aged 55 and over. Topics include on how to drive defensively, deal with aggressive drivers, and how to adjust to vision and hearing loss. Classes are held in the spring and fall. Class is also available online.
