Association of Illinois Senior Centers Convention Attended!

Peggy attended the Association of Illinois Senior Centers on Friday, September 15th in Glendale Heights! There were 45 participants who shared their programming, marketing, volunteer and funding strategies. Paula Basta, the Illinois Department on Aging Director, was the keynote speaker. The number of older adults continues to climb rapidly in our country. The group celebrated generational differences and highlighted the joy that participants have when participating in senior center activities. Paula is very supportive of the efforts to create a center for older adults here in Peoria!
