Graceland Center Satellite Event at the Greater Peoria YMCA January 18th at 11 am!

January kickstarts with our first-of-the-year satellite event at the Greater Peoria YMCA! January is an exciting opportunity to start something new or restart a habit that we know is good for us!

Graceland Center is hosting special events in Peoria Illinois as an incredible opportunity for older adults to engage with this NEW DEVELOPMENT for their well-being that are generously funded through the Central Illinois Community Foundation.

Join us Thursday, January 18th at the Greater Peoria YMCA at 11 am to learn about the YMCA services and ways to stay healthy! Come in through the main entrance and you will be guided to the Activity Room. The program will start at 11 am with refreshments, an overview of Graceland Center, and our vision to create a community-based center for older adults in Peoria, IL and get YOUR input on what you would like to have as a resource for Peoria. Then the YMCA staff will give us an overview of the services they provide, many of which are new since the partnering with the Peoria Park District. Our speaker will then guide the group in an activity for wellness that will be an example of what they have at the YMCA/Riverplex. We look forward to having you join us to share the fun and help us dream for our future center!
