Brenda Huston volunteers with Graceland Center to give back to the community!

Brenda's journey into volunteering at Graceland, is rooted in her deeply personal experience of assisting her mother-in-law through the complexities of aging. This experience ignited a passion in Brenda for working with the elderly, leading her to recognize the profound impact of compassion and support on enhancing the quality of life for seniors. Her dedication to volunteering at Graceland stems from a genuine desire to give back to her community, where she finds joy in the smiles and stories of the people she helps. For Brenda, volunteering is not just an act of service but a fulfilling way to connect with others, share in their journey, and contribute to a circle of care and respect that uplifts everyone involved.

Bill Fuller is our guy!

Bill Fuller is Graceland Center’s volunteer extraordinaire! Every week Bill faithfully sets out our signage, makes the coffee, gets the microphone and speakers set up, and of course, chides everyone coming in the door. Bill keeps the jokes rolling throughout the morning. And we can count on him to make sure everyone feels welcome and included in the activities of the day. Whenever he is not able to be at our programs, his smile (and smirks!) are missed! Thank you, Bill for making Graceland Center’s weekly programs happen!
