Our April programs are, as always, based on program participants' input! 

Neighborhood House Congregate Meals are provided each week at no cost to persons age 60 yrs and older. Reservations 24 hrs in advance is required! Call 803-503-7773 to reserve your meal or simply sign up when you are there at the center. Meals are served from 11 to 11:30 during programming. If you come to the program, and did not sign up, no worries! Light snacks are available too! 

Remember, there is no need to pre-register for programs and these are available at no cost to you! Donations are accepted to support programming! 

Tuesday mornings feature a movie followed by BINGO 

Wednesday programs feature activities to promote physical, mental and emotional wellness! 

  •      Collage Art with Robin Lehner and Christa Fuller

  •      Home Safety for Seasoned Adults with Krista Keiser, Encompass Physical Therapy 

  •      Service Project for Foster Village Peoria 

  •      Winter Blues Collage Art with Jackie Bowers, Center for Youth and Family Services Robin 

  •      Brain Health with Dr. Mudar and Eliza Baby, PhD student from the University of Illinois 

  •      Pain Management presented by Vivian Agusi, RN-BSN student, OSF College of Nursing Collage Art 

  •      Monthly BINGO and BIRTHDAY BASH! Hosted by Summer Royer, Synergy Home Care 

We always start with a physical activity to get everyone warmed up and laughing, ready to enjoy the morning. Our number of participants continues to grow as word gets out that PEORIA NEEDS A SENIOR CENTER! Come and share the joy of connections with others!
